Cora McAda "Cora Mac" Dowler

Cora McAda Dowler, 73, of Marmaduke passed away July 4, 2010, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born Sept. 18, 1936, in Ravenden Springs to Colon and Vasta Rogers-White. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Marmaduke.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Murrel White.


She is survived by her husband, Robert Dowler of the home; four daughters, Melissa Austin and her husband, Gary, Kay Phillips and her husband, Greg, Angie Justice and her husband, Travis, all of Paragould, and Becky Chambers and her husband, Scott, of Marmaduke; three brothers, Wayne White of Paragould, Paul and Dean White of Alabama, Loren and Sarah White and Chuck and Peggy White, both of Marmaduke; seven grandchildren, Jason, Blake, Ashley, Kelsey, Braden, Blaire, and Melody; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home. The service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke.
