Loran Kaye White

 Loran Kaye White, 82 of Marmaduke passed from this life on January 10, 2014 at the Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould, Arkansas. He was born on January 6, 1932 in Ravenden Springs, Arkansas to the late Colan E. White and Vasta B. (Rogers) White. Loran served our country faithfully in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marmaduke.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Sarah Rose Hatcher White; one son: David White; one great grandson: Bryson Anderson; two brothers: Murrell White, Darrell White; and one sister: Cora Mac Dowler.
Loran is survived by his two sons and daughter in laws: Danny and Jeanne White of Southaven, Mississippi, Dennis and Sheila White of Paragould, Arkansas; one daughter and her husband: Donna and Jess Hale of Marmaduke, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Holly Hunt, Michael White, Tanner White, Kymberlee Meier, Kaylin White; four great- grandchildren: Madalyn White, Ethan Hunt, Kenley Hunt, Anna White; two brothers: Wayne White, Paul White; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 12, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Marmaduke. Funeral Services will be held following visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Jason Sutfin officiating. Interment will be held at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke.
